I usually stick with Seventh Generation diapers for my toddler but I love the Pampers Sensitive for Newborns and young babies. They keep the bum less irritated and the wetness indicator really helps keep track of the minimal amounts of pee. Yes, this is a vine review. BUT, I am in fact the mother of a 4 month old baby girl (G) who I do purchase pampers for. My daughter does not have an issue with dry max, so I buy regular pampers. Thanks to the Vine, I was able to receive a box of the sensitive. I think they're pretty great, but not as great as the regular ones. It might just be my box but they seem to have a different fit then regular pampers causing them to leak on a fairly regular basis if not put on just right. We just started using them and my husband keeps joking he must not be very good yet at diapers because he had to completely change our soaked daughter twice in a couple hours because she urinated and it just ran out the side. They just feel baggier. G has no issues with the regular pampers so she does not need to be "sized up". I love how soft they are but... I hate how expensive they are. Although our children are older, we tested these on a very young baby. Both we and the parents agreed these passed with flying colors.Also, to be very specific, the baby produced a wide variety of stools during the testing period) stools that ranged from soft to runny. Sorry to be so detailed but I think this is a VERY important point. In all cases, there was no leakage- and I think that is impressive. Keep in mind that we used Plus Size 1 on a baby which weighed 11 pounds and essentially a newborn (weighed nearly 10 pounds at birth). Some reviewers have given the larger sizes less positive reviews. Not sure why. I can only vouch for the size we used. One recommendstion: get these as soon as the baby is born.
